RECENT HAPPENINGS !
by Jack Spiers

Nov. 1st I had no idea in mind as to when I would be able to visit Bolivia, but then came a dream in which I saw the young mens' faces. Faces and names that had almost left my mind were now very clear to me once again. I wanted to see them. I had helped to raise them. I knew there was a need.

Arriving to Rurre on Nov. 14th I began meeting these same young people that I has seen in a dream. Now they were coming to me with a very different urgent need. One by one ten of them told me of the same vision: They want me to come back to teach them more of God's Word so they can go everywhere preaching the same. They are alive with the Spirit's anointing! They are called to go. Reuben shared his vision for going to another city to raise up a congregation of believers. He shared this in a planning meeting. His plan included working with us for three years in order to learn how it is done. I was shocked and so pleased to see the broader plan God is unfolding for El Faro.

I had wanted to build an orphanage in the country. Just didn't have the green stuff to buy the first acre of land, and neither had God provided workers to help me. But then I met Andy and his wife Lupe on this trip. They feel God sending them to Rurrenabaque to build a rehabilitation center. They want to work under my guidance, and are offering 320 acres of fertile land just outside Rurre, and just where I would have liked to buy land. They have graciously offered the land to me for the orphanage also, and for pasture and cropland to help provide food. They are Holy Spirit anointed power houses for God and make a powerful group when teamed up with my returning Bolivian children - now turned men of God. Immediately there is so much to do. The mission house needs some renovation: tile put on cement floors; screens replaced; landscaping; painting; and a palm frond roof put over the stage, just to name a few. If you can give or go to help out, then get ready. I would like very much for a work team to come in July when it will be cool and dry. Ask God if you should go. I promise it will be exciting. I realize that at seventy-two years of age I will need to behave myself a little better. I have been told by family and friends that I will have to take better care of myself, and I fully agree.

NEWS FLASH: Please pray that God will lay out the stepping stones of His miracles for each of us to step to as we follow Him and His marvelous plans for all of us in these exciting LAST DAYS OF THE HARVEST!
